Background: A diner and chef-focused SaaS/CRM Startup

Eat In Chef is a company that meets the needs of both chef and diners by connecting them on an online platform. It allows diners to find professional chefs to come cook in their home and prepare a gourmet, restaurant-quality experience for them right in their own homes. It also allows chefs to grow their own professional chef business, by providing access to clients as well as analytics and booking tools. 

My Role: UX and Content Strategist

I joined Eat In Chef (EIC) in a contract position as its UX and Content Strategist. I worked closely with its founder and CEO as well as its graphic designer to implement social media and email campaigns. I coordinated social media postings across channels (including copywriting and art direction) and monitored analytics, making changes in accordance with these insights. I also contributed to the UX direction of EIC's product by creating user flows that mapped out new admin, chef, and diner experiences that will be implemented in the eatinchef.com's upcoming redesign. 

Social Media Campaign: Netflix and Dine

At EIC, I implemented a social media campaign focused around the experience of "Netflix and Chill."  The campaign focused on both Netflix Originals and EIC's original dining opportunities to introduce potential diners to a new way of doing dinner and a movie, with a restaurant-quality experience right in their own home. I worked with EIC's graphic designer to develop images for these posts, and led the copywriting process. While implementing this campaign, I was able to help re-establish EIC's social media presence. We gained followers, impressions, and views across channels. Below are examples of posted content, from both Instagram and Facebook:

 

User Flows for Site Redesign

I worked with EIC's founder and CEO to document the new user experience flow that would be integrated into the product's upcoming re-design.
